Are you free on Sunday 18th May? Would you like to come and join us for brunch?
Alison Jane Reid, founder of The Ethical Hedonist, has kindly organised a morning at Flat Planet at the top end of Carnaby St, just behind Liberty.* A lover of luxurious, local artisan products, Alison Jane has gathered a collection of brilliant brands together for the day. It's a perfect time to quiz the makers of some stunning items.
Pre-bookings are essential to avoid queuing due to limited space. Pre-book here and you'll get 15% off brunch. There's also a nailbar and goody bags on a first come, first served basis. Absolutely perfect for a catch up with the girlfriends!
I'll be there to answer any questions you have about shoes and will have my Brannock device with me if any of you would like your feet measured. And, of course, there will be Alice Bow insoles available for purchase.
Look forward to seeing you there! If you're getting a round in, mine's a decaf latte.
* Liberty is one of my favourite places in London, if not the world. Even though I'm from Australia, the store been a fixture in my life since birth as a London-based family friend kindly sent yards of Liberty fabric to me as an early present. My mother isn't a sewer, so they remained intact until my teenage sewing years. Navy fabric with white dalmatians was turned into an early sewing triumph - a pair of frilled shorts using a pattern my engineering father kindly cut for me from an existing number. He also sews a mean fencing suit, but that's another story...
