1. Let Your feet breathe
When you get the chance, slip off your shoes and enjoy the fresh feeling of a cold floor. This seems obvious, but we don't always think of the obvious things, especially when it is hot and sticky. Even on carpet, letting your feet go free so that they can breathe helps regulate your body temperature and how that impacts your feet.

2. Rotate your favourite shoes
The summer heat is an extra stressor for your shoes too. Allowing shoes to air out and dry after use, particularly leather shoes, will help prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to unwanted odours, and accelerated wear. Rotate between at least two pairs of shoes if you can.
3. Freshen your shoes overnight with essential oils
Pop a few drops of your favourite essential oil onto a tissue and place it in your shoes before bed. It’s a simple way to keep them smelling fresh and delightful by morning. We lik peppermint, lavender, or tea tree oil for this.

4. Avoid that tight-shoe feeling with open airy shoes
That hot and tight summer shoe feeling? We've all been there. Opt for open, airy shoes in natural materials. Our leather insoles let your feet breathe and add a layer of comfort, so pop a pair of those in your summer shoes too.
5. Cool foot bath at the end of the day
After a warm summer day, nothing beats a refreshing foot soak. Add your favourite bath salts or essential oils and enjoy a few quiet minutes to relax and revive your feet.
