Our insoles are shaped for fitted shoes.  If you are ordering them to use in looser shoes (i.e. trainers or chunky boots), we recommend you go up to the next size.

Our insoles are handmade in London, United Kingdom, in the traditional heart of English women's shoemaking.

Our leather and padding is made especially for Alice Bow by family-run EU businesses.

Leather: Goat leather ("incrociato) from EU tanneries

Padding: non-allergic latex (EU origin)

  • Alice Bow insoles are crafted using high-quality leather and orthopaedic padding. Our Shearling Insoles also use real shearling for extra warmth and comfort. All materials are chosen for durability, breathability, and long-lasting support.

  • Yes! All insoles are sold and shipped in pairs. Ordering one means you receive a full pair.

  • The orthopaedic padding retains its bounce for several years. Leather and shearling age beautifully with regular wear.

  • Yes, our leather insoles stay securely in place using our sticky spots, which come with every pair (plus two extra sets). You can gently lift and reapply them if you’d like to move your insoles between shoes. However, we recommend, and our customers prefer, using one pair per set of shoes for the best fit, comfort, and longevity.

    Shearling insoles can be moved between shoes, but for the best fit and to preserve the shape and softness of the shearling, we recommend keeping each pair in one set of shoes. This helps the insoles mold gently to the shape of your footwear and ensures long-lasting comfort.

  • Yes, you can trim them slightly at the toe if needed. They're pre-shaped to fit most shoes.

  • We suggest sizing up for the best fit. If they don’t work, we’re happy to arrange an exchange.

  • If your order hasn’t arrived after 2 weeks (UK) or 4 weeks (international), email us at hello@alicebow.com and we’ll help right away.

  • Absolutely! We want you to love your insoles. If you're not completely happy, you can return them within 90 days, even if they’ve been worn. For other items, just make sure they’re unused and in original condition. To start a return or exchange, drop us a note at hello@alicebow.com and we’ll guide you through it. Exchanges are free, and we’ll get your new pair out to you as quickly as possible.

  • Yes, you can, as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet. Whether it’s a change to size, colour, address, or adding something extra, just email us at hello@alicebow.com as soon as possible. If you place a second order, we’ll combine shipping and refund any extra postage.
